Members of the Springfield Rotary Club recently welcomed Kayla Bapp, coordinator of the diaper bank at the Springfield Area Parent Child Center, for a presentation about the growing need for essential family support services in the region.

During her presentation, Bapp shared information about the Parent Child Center’s diaper bank, which provides diapers and other basic necessities to families facing financial challenges. She explained that diapers are a significant but often overlooked expense for many families and are not covered by assistance programs such as SNAP or WIC.

Bapp also highlighted “Tienna’s Closet,” a community resource that provides free clothing, shoes, baby items, and other essentials to local families in need. The program relies heavily on donations and community support to ensure children and families have access to necessities throughout the year.
