Throughout the month of April, Springfield Rotary Club is sponsoring a diaper drive to benefit the Diaper Bank at Springfield Area Parent Child Center. Any size, any brand! Please drop them off at the following locations in Springfield: Community Bank, Edward Jones (River Street), M&T Bank, Springfield Town Library, State Farm Insurance, and VTel.

According to Springfield Rotary Club president Emma McGuirk state funding to the Vermont Diaper Bank has been severely cut from approximately $320,000 yearly to a FINAL $100,000.

“This funding helps families with limited income have access to free diapers,” McGuirk said, “Diapers are not a luxury item but rather a NECESSITY!”

McGuirk continued, “It not only is needed for a baby’s comfort, but also for a baby’s health and wellbeing.”

“In addition to collecting any size and any brand of diapers, we are also hoping that wipes will also be donated,” McGuirk added.

Diapers can be dropped off at the following locations in Springfield: Community Bank, Edward Jones (River Street), M&T Bank, Springfield Town Library, State Farm Insurance, and VTel.
