Springfield Rotary Club President Debbie Cox and scholarship committee members Jim Fog, Bob Flint, Ed McQuaide, and Ed Grossman selected Kylie Nadeau and Madalyn Downing as winners of this year’s local scholarships.
Each student will receive a $3,000 scholarship.
Nadeau is planning to attend the University of New England to study Middle and Secondary Education. Downing is planning to attend Champlain College to pursue a career in Social Work and Criminal Justice.
Funds for the scholarship awards came from the annual Springfield Rotary Penny Sale, which will return this October.
