At the Springfield Rotary Club June 21st meeting, representatives from Rotary Districts in South Africa expressed their gratitude for the club’s fundraising participation, along with eight other clubs in Vermont and New Hampshire, to provide a local children’s hospital with a pediatric bronchoscope.

The project qualified for Rotary Global Grant funding from the Rotary Foundation and received a total of $220,000 to purchase the device. Each year, the bronchoscope is being used on over 550 babies and children up to age 16 and is credited as a life-saving procedure for many.
