The Rotary Club of Springfield Vermont recently inducted Springfield resident Sue Phelps as its club president for the 2025-2026 Rotary year. 
 
Rotary club members serving as officers with Sue this year are Secretary Marty Cohn, Treasurer Michelle Chamberlain, Immediate Past President Deb Cox and directors-at-large Jeff Mobus, Ed Grossman, John Somers, and Emma McGuirk.
 
Sue has been active in the Rotary Club of Springfield since 2014 serving as a club director and chair of the butterfly release for 2024.
 
Sue is employed as Finance Director for Senior Solutions. Senior Solutions is the area agency on aging for southeastern Vermont and believes that every person should be able to age in the place of their choice with the support they need and the opportunity for meaningful relationships and active engagement in their community.
 
Sue is treasurer and past president of the Springfield Regional Chamber of Commerce and is on the steering committee for Leadership Southeast Vermont.
 
As Springfield Rotary president, Sue hopes to continue making a positive impact on our community, whether through the annual food drive or supporting local students with scholarships.
 
Sue is a graduate of Springfield High School and Champlain College.  She has two children, Paul, a recent graduate of Vermont State University Randolph and Emma, a junior at Carnegie Mellon University.
