At a special meeting of the Springfield Rotary Club held on July 6th, Springfield VT Rotary Club Immediate Past President Karen Longo presented Ed McQuaide with an award as “Differentiator of the Year,” for all his service to the projects of the club and for epitomizing the Rotary motto, “Service Above Self”.
Additionally, Rotary District 7870 District Governor Elect Bill Stevens presented Springfield VT Rotary Club member Jeff Mobus with a Paul Harris Award. The Paul Harris Fellow Award, named after Rotary International Founder Paul Harris, is a Rotary award dating back to 1957 that recognizes individuals who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name, of $1,000 or more to the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.
