Happy Events:
Jeff's dad is making progress.  He's been in the hospital for 3 mos. but seems to be moving in a good direction.  Sending positive, healing thoughts to Jeff and his family.
Deb got to go to her grandson, Gavin's kindergarten class today.  Loves being "mimi"  Her family also celebrated the life of her 92 y.o. aunt who passes away.  She survived two bouts of breast cancer.
Karen thankful to Paul and Carol for making the Nolan Murray Center room available for our meetings.  Looking forward to our holiday party and glad to have Deb as our guest speaker.
Marty attended a family Bar Mitzvah.  Thank you Paul and Carol for the room location.
We will continue to discuss and review DEI programs in the new year.
February is Literacy month and Union Street School would like us to come in and read to the students.
Our club will look into being a sponsor of an exchange student.  The cost is about $2000.00 for the exchange fee and providing spending money for the student.  Usually 3 families as hosts would be ideal.

Our presenter was our own, Debra Cox.  Her presentation was full of financial education.  Her positive outlook and energy made understanding the information easy.  The company, Primerica was founded in 1977 by Art Williams, who happened to be a football coach.  So, when a member of Primerica reaches a 100k yearly goal they receive a ring that is very similar to the large football rings champions wear.  Deb has reached that level and wears her ring proudly!
