On a personal note:
Karen is out of town today and I am working out of town all week.
Today EMMA, president-elect did a stand up job running the meeting! Thank you Emma! AND...SUE DANA stepped up to offer zoom so I could "attend" and take notes. Sue, you rock!
Our speaker today was SHS AD, Rick Saypack. He's thankful to be back at Rotary. We make a difference with the kids in town. He's working hard to keep and bring the facilities up to par. The major issues are the track as well as the Dressel gym floor. They have a fund for women who need equipment or funds for attending a sporting camp. The J Fund has about $6000.00 in it to support women in sports. There's a concern for security at night games but it's a great event and they hope to keep offering night games. Shortage of bus drivers, so he's looking into certifying parent drivers for games as well. Rick restated he appreciates our support and positive words we send out into the community!
