• Holiday Party survey results: Saturday night, no theme, Crown Point Country Club, buffet, pre-plated salads. The Social Committee will mneet shortly to plan this year's party. To volunteer to be on committee, contact Patti.
• Penny Sale: Tickets have been distributed for the event on Oct. 19. There will be 20 stuffed animals as prizes. If you would to sponsor a stuffed animal, contact Jeff.

Trex Plastics Challenge Update
We have collected 429 pounds of plastic film towards our goal of 1000 pounds of plastic film for the ninth recycled bench that is earmarked for the Green on Main. Since February of 2023, 6572 pounds of plastic film (over 3 tons!) have been removed from the waste stream, delivered to Shaw's Supermarket, and heading to Trex Company for recycling. You can bring your plastic to the Springfield Town Library.

PROGRAM:
Danne Bare, executive director of Springfield Area Parent & Child Center (SAPCC), gave an overview of her organization SAPCC builds bridges of support for children, families and caregivers and is one of fifteen parent child centers in the state of Vermont that make up the Vermont Parent Child Center Network (VPCCN). SAPCC serves nearly 12,000 individuals in southern Windsor and northern Windham counties each year through a wide variety of programs and services. To learn more, visit https://sapcc-vt.org/
