PROGRAM:

Brattleboro Sunrise Rotary member Tristam Johnson gave a passionate presentation about his visit this summer to Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. He reviewed the many projects with which Rotary has helped the residents. The Pine Ridge Indian Reservation covers more than 2.8 million acres in southwestern South Dakota, making it the second-largest reservation in the United States and larger than Delaware and Rhode Island combined. He met with many residents and was able to see beyond the poverty and embrace the possibilities. He saw a vibrant culture, talented artists, hopeful young people, and the many individuals and organizations committed to building a better today – and tomorrow across the reservation. You can learn more about life on the reservation through its radio station KILI by visiting https://www.kiliradio.org/.

This bulletin attempts to give a gist of the meeting.  However, it is always better to attend.  If you have any complaints about the contents of this bulletin...
