The fifth bench has been assembled and is still waiting to be picked up by Springfield On The Move for the bus stop on Main Street. We have collected 580 pounds of plastic film towards the 1000 pounds needed for our sixth bench. So far, 3,710 pounds (1.9 tons) of plastic film has been removed from the waste stream, delivered to Shaw's Supermarket, and heading to Trex Company for recycling. Marty will be presenting the project to the Claremont-Sugar River Rotary Club on 2/27. We need more volunteers to help sort at the Library, please contact Sue Dowdell.
