A sleeping world emerges to new possibilities
weakening winter’s icy grip.
And President Jim sings aloud, and wavering crying of Sargent of Arms
announce to all the promise
that in due season
creation bursts into life.
And whilst leaves that fell in winter
Lie upon the ground
soon Rotarians will feed the poor, love our neighbors, and finish projects
in civic duties wondrous cycle
Of serve and fines, fellowship and laughter;
within the club is a stirring of new growth and new energy. Let us all embrace it.
