President Deb welcomed all to the Dec. 17, 2024 club meeting held at our new location, Springfield Area Parent Child Training Center.  For the thought of the day, she offered this quote by Colin Powell: “There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure”

BOWL OF LIFE: (members put three things about themselves on paper and place into a bowl and then we try to identify the member)

This member's clue was: "My first concert was Judas Priest"— No one fessed up so we will have to set this up another time.

Nick Matush, owner of The Copper Fox, discussed the history of his popular Springfield restaurant. Nick grew up in Springfield and graduated from Springfield’s River Valley Technical Center. He went on to study at the New England Culinary Institute. After graduation, he worked with high-profile chefs across the U.S. and learned to cook in a variety of cuisines, including Caribbean, Italian, Cuban, and Peruvian.
