We have ordered the seventh bench that is going to Springfield Library. We have collected 184 pounds of plastic film towards our goal of 1000 pounds of plastic film for an eighth recycled bench. Since February of 2023, 5,326 pounds of plastic film (over 2-1/2 tons!) have been removed from the waste stream, delivered to Shaw's Supermarket, and heading to Trex Company for recycling. We need more volunteers to help sort at the Library, please contact Sue Dowdell.
