TREX PLASTIC CHALLENGE UPDATE
The thirteenth recycled bench that has been given to Springfield Parks & Recreation. To date, over5.5tons of plastic film have been removed from the waste stream since we started this project in February of 2023, delivered to Shaw's Supermarket, and heading to Trex for recycling. Please continue to bring your plastic film to the Springfield Town Library. We will begin collecting towards the 14th bench which will honor Lori Muse and be placed at Springfield Hospital. NOTE: We need volunteers to help sort the plastic at the Library. For more info, contact Alan.

RAFFLE:
The weekly prize of $6 was won by Ed M who donated it back to the club. The big raffle grows to $95.
PROGRAM:
Dr. Lisa Mobus shared insights from her Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Research Program grant in Colombia, where she worked from February to July 2025. Her research explored how recent educational reforms have expanded access and improved outcomes for diverse student populations through flexible learning pathways.
